Biography

Kuang Ruixia, Associate Professor with a master's degree at Qingdao University Medical College, currently serves as Deputy Director of the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery and the Medical Aesthetics Center at the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University Medical College, and is a master's degree supervisor. Dr. Kuang has been engaged in plastic and aesthetic surgery for 23 years and has successfully performed more than 10,000 surgical procedures. Dr. Kuang performs a wide range of plastic and aesthetic surgeries, including facial contouring (mandibular angle hypertrophy and microgenia/short chin deformity), correction of ear deformities, nasal reconstruction, alar defect repair, breast reconstruction, reduction mammaplasty, correction of inverted nipples, body contouring, gynecologic plastic surgery, and other procedures. Post-burn scar deformities often cause severe physical and psychological damage to patients. Dr. Kuang is able to flexibly use various skin flaps to repair skin defects, scar deformities, organ deformities, and other conditions, relieving patients' physical and psychological suffering and even saving their lives.

Dr. Kuang keeps abreast of developments in the field and actively participates in domestic and international academic exchange activities. Dr. Kuang has strong research capabilities, has led multiple provincial- and municipal-level research projects, and has repeatedly received Science and Technology Progress Awards from the Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Commission, the Shandong Provincial Health Department, the Qingdao Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and other institutions. Dr. Kuang has published more than 20 papers in renowned domestic and international journals.
